Section 113
Witness should be given daily and visiting allowance and security
(1) In cases related to offenses under Schedule-1 or Schedule-2, the witness appearing in the court on behalf of the Government of Nepal shall be paid by the official gazetted first class government employee, and if the witness appears as an expert, the official gazetted third class official employee shall be given daily allowance and visiting allowance as per the law. should be provided.
(2) If any government employee appears in the court as a witness or expert, the office in which he is holding shall provide him with the daily and visiting allowance that he is entitled to in accordance with the prevailing law.
(3) The government of Nepal shall make arrangements for the necessary protection of the witnesses as per sub-section (1).
